JPA 2008 ANNUAL MEETING
April 27-30 at The Homestead
Hot Springs, VA
Due to delays in union negotiations between Greenbrier management and the roughly 1,000 union workers employed at the resort, there is the potential for a strike, or a drop in service level. The JPA board of directors on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 after careful deliberation and much thought, made the decision to move the meeting to The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA.
“I have been going to the Homestead since 1957. It is a great place and if you have not been there, you will not be disappointed. I actually prefer Hot Springs to the Greenbrier, but both are lovely. Good choice.” (Reg Garner of TW Garner)
On behalf of the Juice Products Association, please join me at JPA’s 51st Annual Meeting, at the beautiful and historical Homestead Resort in West Virginia. The hospitality, elegant accommodations and distinctive Southern charm you’ll find at The Homestead work together to create an alluring setting for JPA members to relax, renew relationships with colleagues, and focus on the coming year.
This year’s Annual Meeting offers insights on consumer food and beverage preferences, balancing sustainability with the corporate bottom line, and the continuing challenges to the juice category. Our special guest, in keeping with the election year, will be Andrew Card, former White House Chief of Staff. Andy will offer his perspectives on the 2008 Presidential race. And as always, JPA’s committee meetings continue to be an excellent source of topical information critical to the vitality of the juice products industry.
Come discover the timeless appeal of American’s premier mountain resort at The Homestead. We anticipate a most successful event as the resort extends a warm southern welcome to JPA members and guests back.
We look forward to seeing you in Virginia!
Cordially,
Bob Behr
JPA Chairman
