JPA Annual Golf Tournament
Monday, April 28
12:30 – 5:30 pm
The JPA Annual Golf Tournament is a scramble format, with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm.
The tournament will take place on the Old Course, next to The Homestead. Enjoy amazing views on a Donald Ross- designed layout, with updates by William S. Flynn and Rees Jones. Abundant fairway contouring gives most shots a side hill, uphill, or downhill lie to smallish greens, making approach shots interesting. There’s a driving range for warm up as well.
Attire: Collared shirts, long pants or walking shorts.
(Tee shirts, tank tops, athletic shorts, cut-offs or jeans are not permitted on golf courses.)
Box lunch and bottled water is included.
Cost per person: $245 (does not include rental clubs)
Rental clubs - $70/set (Titleist), does not include balls
Cascades Gorge Tour
Monday, April 28
1:45 – 4:45pm or 2:00 - 5:00pm
Enjoy one of the most popular activities at The Homestead as a Naturalist leads you through a series of beautiful waterfalls alongside a deep-Alleghany Mountain trail. Be entertained as our Naturalist highlights the many interesting plants and animals that inhabit this gorge. Approximately two miles in length, moderate hiking ability and endurance are a must. Don't forget your camera!
Cost: $30
(Attendees who signed up for the Bunker tour at The Greenbrier will be automatically signed up for one of the Cascades Gorge Tours. Monday Bunker tour attendees are now signed up for the 1:45 Gorge Tour, and Tuesday Bunker tour attendees are now signed up for the 2:00 Gorge Tour. Cost is the same.
