JPA Annual Golf Tournament
Monday, April 16, 12:30–5:30 pm
The JPA Annual Golf Tournament is a scramble format, with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. Please note: this year, the tournament will be held on Monday afternoon.
The tournament will take place adjacent to The St. Regis at the Monarch Beach Golf Links. Enjoy spectacular views on a Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed masterpiece. The 18-hole course runs along the dramatic bluffs of the Pacific Ocean and is fashioned in Scottish links tradition. The golf course offers a challenge for all levels of golfers.
If you bring your own golf clubs, golf bags can be stored at the bell desk for $2/bag.
Attire: Collared shirts only. No T-shirts, swimwear, denim, or athletic apparel. Soft-spiked shoes; rental shoes are not available.
Cost per person: $225 (does not include rental clubs)

Dolphin Safari
Monday, April 16, 1:00–4:30 pm
Cancelled due to lack of participants.

Captain Dave and Captain Bob are the “Dolphin & Whale Pros”, and creators of a National Geographic documentary, “Wild Dolphins & Whales of Southern California”. Their specially designed Catamaran will get guests UP CLOSE! The 35-foot catamaran has an underwater video camera, speakers, and hydrophone for listening and playing music to dolphins. Guests hear the unique languages of these graceful creatures. Guests may stay dry in the protected cockpit area, or venture out on the special 'Tram Net' for a really close encounter! You will see what the dolphins and whales are doing below the surface with our 'Dolphin & Whale Cam'. And last, but not least, Mrs. Captain Dave's famous triple fudge brownies on the ride back to the harbor!
Tour does not include lunch, so please plan to dine before you go.
Cost per person: $150 (includes transportation, all taxes & gratuities…and the brownies)
Tour requires a minimum of 15 participants registered by March 15 to commence. If the tour must be cancelled, we will advise the registered participants and refund the tour fees.
Discover the California Riviera
Monday, April 16, 12:00–4:30 pm
Coastal Orange County is known as the '”Riviera of the West Coast” for its natural beauty and relaxed charm. With its serene shoreline and chic shopping areas, this stretch of land has much to offer.
A tour of the area begins with San Juan Capistrano. Guests stop at the San Juan Capistrano Mission, the 'Jewel of the Missions,’ and then continue on a tour of Newport Beach. Once in Newport Beach, guests board electric boats to explore the picturesque harbor. Dotted by seven charming residential islands, quaint villages, celebrity homes, and more than 9,000 spectacular boats, the harbor is an attraction for all ages. Tour includes boxed lunch and beverages.
Cost per person: $145 (includes lunch, all admissions, tour guide, transportation, all taxes & gratuities)

Hiking in Crystal Cove
Monday, April 16, 1:00–5:00 pm
Hiking is a wonderful way to closely explore the geography of any area. Southern California has especially interesting terrain due to the proliferation of microclimates. Guests may choose to explore breathtaking Crystal Cove in Laguna Beach by either walking along the shoreline or hiking atop overlooking bluffs.
The guide provides the group with informative facts and tidbits. Guests explore how life was for Native Americans who once resided in the area. See how the planet and animal ecosystems of the ocean interact; have a hands-on discussion of the diverse life on the shorelines; and examine the natural history of the local area and the beauty of nature.
